Clevelands House Resort

Minett, Ontario

Diabetes educators from the Northern Diabetes Health Network’s 39 northern Ontario programs attended the Annual Networking Meeting and Professional Development Day. Participants were engaged and excited by a rich mix of learning and networking opportunities. The Northern Diabetes Health Network was also pleased to welcome diabetes educators from southern Ontario to the Professional Development Day "Networking While Learning: The Real World of Diabetes Care". Participants were invigorated by exciting speakers, new strategies and ideas, and the opportunity to discuss current issues and challenges in diabetes care with their colleagues.

Clevelands House Resort, situated on the shores of Lake Rosseau, in Muskoka, provided a beautiful natural setting for the retreat and a great opportunity to take a break from the hectic pace of providing health care services and reflect upon strategies to implement newly acquired knowledge and ideas.
