	The 3rd Annual Professional Development Day and Networking Session was a tremendous success. Representatives from each of the 34 pediatric diabetes programs from across Ontario gathered at the Hilton Toronto Airport Hotel on November 21st and 22nd, 2003.
	Topics featured on the Professional Development Day included: Healthy Relationships with Self and Others Factors Influencing Adherence in Chronically Ill Adolescents Eating Disorders in Adolescents with Type 1 Diabetes Obesity and Type 2 Diabetes in Children The Athlete with Type 1 Diabetes Active Healthy School Communities			The feedback from participants was very positive. This is what some participants had to say: "The chance to network with other centres is very valuable and very much appreciated" "The Network has grown by leaps and bounds and is now one of the stronger provincial pediatric programs" A big THANK YOU to the NOPDP Ad Hoc Working Committee for planning an outstanding Professional Development Day agenda, addressing current issues in Pediatric Diabetes.
