The 4th Annual Network of Ontario Pediatric Diabetes Programs Professional Development Day and Networking Session was held on
November 26th and 27th, 2004 at the Novotel Toronto Mississauga Hotel in Mississauga, Ontario.

Over 120 healthcare professionals including registered nurses, registered dietitians, social workers and physicians participated in this event.  Through formal and informal networking they had the opportunity to share ideas, initiatives and best practices as well as discuss current issues in pediatric diabetes.  Both days proved to be an excellent platform for networking for health care professionals, experts and industry partners.

We were honored to welcome Peter Fonseca, MPP for Mississauga East and Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Health and Long-Term Care, who delivered greetings from the Ministry and shared his commitment to enhancing the quality of life for children at risk of, or living with diabetes.
