Diabetes Resource Catalogue

The “Diabetes Resource Catalogue” was developed in the winter/spring of 2007 by an Aboriginal Diabetes Educator Specialist with input from numerous NDHN member programs that provide diabetes services to Aboriginal people in northern Ontario.

The catalogue consists of culturally-appropriate diabetes resources and includes ordering information for each resource. You can click on the links below to view resources for each of the following categories:

In the spring/summer of 2007, Aboriginal stakeholders across northern Ontario were provided with the opportunity to order diabetes prevention and/or management resources from the culturally-appropriate Diabetes Resource Catalogues on behalf of their community or organization. Many took advantage of this offer with hundreds of resources being ordered and distributed based on what the individual communities or organizations felt would be the most useful to them locally.

The NDHN may be able to assist with the purchase of resources for your community/organization. To submit a request for funds to purchase resources, download the request form and submit to the NDHN by fax at 807-737-2240.
